New fan footage has emerged of the amazing fire that engulfed Nick Heidfeld’s Renault in the Hungarian Grand Prix.
The German driver leapt out of the burning car at the end of the Hungaroring pitlane, then as fire marshals attempted to put out the flames, the engine appeared to explode through the sidepod, blasting debris into the attendant marshals and leaving one hobbling around the stricken car.
