 Kinga was a good swimmer from a young age, she won several national and international titles in her age category. She began waterskiing at 14 then she followed the natural progression to wakeboarding in 1998 when the sport began to take off in her home nation of Hungary.

Within months of starting she was competing at national and international level, winning the X-treme Wakeboard Cup that same year. Kinga has been Hungarian wakeboarding champion every year in a row since 1999. Aside from this stunning record, she has two European Cups and a European Championship to her name, as well as a string of other titles.

She became Vice World Champion and hit the top of the world rankings as the CWWC (Cable Wakeboard World Council) World number one in 2008. In 2009 she qualified for the T-Mobile Extreme Playground's very first pro women divison where only the top four women could take part! This comp was the final stop of the Wake Park World Series and she got second at this prestigous event. In September she married Ben Shenker, a fellow Red Bull athlete from the world of BMX and she started university to train as a dietician.

Besides competitions, Kinga is also actively coaching, organising wakeboard camps and getting involved in photography and filming as well.
