Enrico Balbo has had a hand in a multitude of championship-winning F1 cars, but our Head of Aero started his career with his head firmly in the clouds.

Enrico kicked off his journey to motorsport by studying aerospace engineering at the Politecnico di Torino. Following graduation he spent a year at France’s ISAE-Supaero in Toulouse, one of the world’s top aerospace engineering schools. But while he then spent a brief spell at Airbus in Toulouse, Enrico was already exploring the world of motorsport and after another period of study at Adrian Newey’s alma mater, Southampton University, he embarked on what has turned out to be a stellar F1 career.
