“In the end, it turned out to be a very good evening since we’re now leading the championship. I didn’t quite get the win but it was close and kind of a ridiculous penalty, but I’ll put that behind me and focus on the positives. I’m always running in the top three and we sit P1 in the Constructors and P2 in the Drivers’ table, so this is good.
"The penalty was because I touched the white line on pit exit, but I didn’t even cross it, so that’s a bit stupid. Moving forwards, we’re lacking a bit of top speed on the set-up so it was quite hard to overtake at times and I also overheated my engine a bit, but I had some good, intense battles on-track.”

“This time I had a rig that worked, so that was definitely a good start. Race 1 in Montreal was decent and to finish in the top five is always good. We were racing in rainy conditions so it was kind of a lottery but I got the most out of it that I could. In Austria for Race 2, I had a really good start and gained three positions coming out of Turn 1, but unfortunately I got hit going into Turn 2 and lost my front-wing.
"The race was over from there and I couldn’t do anything. I started the third and final race in Silverstone from P6 but for some reason I was lacking a lot of straightline speed. I still managed to stay with the lead group but after the pit stops I completely dropped behind and there was no way to climb back.
"From there, I tried to stay with the guys on the soft tyres and managed to make it work. I didn’t lose any positions in the end and finished P8 and four points, but it’s a case of what could have been. The pace is there with Fastest Lap in Race 2, but somehow I just can’t put it together at the moment. I’m going to work even harder now for the next event.”
The Team now moves on to the third live F1 Esports Series event which takes place on Wednesday 6 November.
