Oracle Red Bull Racing Esports Signs F1 Elly
Formula One and sim racing influencer F1 Elly has joined Oracle Red Bull Racing Esports as the Team’s first dedicated content creator.
Elly will be central to Oracle Red Bull Racing Esports’ Twitch schedule, creating regular content that gives fans an insight into the world of Oracle Red Bull Racing as well as Esports.
She will also be undertaking her own sim racing journey, receiving training from Porsche TAG Heuer Supercup World Champion Sebastian Job before taking part in the PESC All Stars race in the grand final of the 2022 competition in June.
F1 Elly, who lives in Austin, Texas, said: “It feels a bit unreal to have joined Oracle Red Bull Racing Esports, I have to admit. From starting my F1 content creation journey by posting a random 7 second TikTok a few years ago to now joining an actual F1 team…I think I’m still trying to comprehend it myself!
“I definitely have my followers to thank because they’ve given me a lot of courage to keep posting content, keep working on my sim racing, and to even try new things along the way – and for that I’m feeling very thankful and appreciative of the support.
“I’ve made a lot of friends along the way – one of the first friends I made in this space was Marcel Kiefer, one of the Team’s F1 Esports drivers. He’s always talked very highly of Oracle Red Bull Racing Esports. Having a familiar face at the team did make Oracle Red Bull Racing feel a lot more inviting to join.”
Oracle Red Bull Racing Esports Senior Gaming and Esports Manager Luke Jones said: “Elly has established herself as one of the most exciting Formula 1 and sim racing content creators in the industry and we are really pleased to welcome her as Oracle Red Bull Racing Esports’ first ever dedicated content creator. Her fun, warm and engaging approach resonates with young F1 fans and gamers alike and we feel she is the perfect fir for the Team.”
Alongside content creation, F1 Elly will be taking on an iRacing challenge with mentorship from former PESC World Champion, Sebastian Job.
Elly said: “Another goal of mine this year now that I’m a part of Oracle Red Bull Racing is to get better at sim racing. A little more practice and a bit more focus could go a long way for me. I’m excited to use the PESC All Stars race to jumpstart this new journey, and I’m lucky to have some very fast Oracle Red Bull Racing esports colleagues to help train me leading up to it.
“I will be starting my practice towards PESC All Stars on Wednesday (11 May) with Sebastian Job, the 2020 Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup World Champion, over on the Oracle Red Bull Racing Twitch channel. “From then up until June I will be practicing over on my Twitch channel (F1elly), as well as Oracle Red Bull Racing’s.”
Elly will be streaming her first show on Oracle Red Bull Racing Esports’ Twtich channel on Wednesday 11 May at 8pm BST.
