Going into the weekend, Chloe, in third place in the title standings and 34 points adrift of series leader Doriane Pin needed an almost perfect weekend if she was to keep her title hopes alive. And in the reverse grid opening race at the Marina Bay Street Circuit she did enough to do that achieving her sixth podium of the season.
Starting from P6, ahead of close rivals Mercedes-support Doriane and Ferrari-supported Maya Weug, Chloe was immediately on the move and under an early Safety Car she sat in P4 behind Sauber-supported Emma Felbermayr.

A bold attack on the restart saw her pass the Austrian but under pressure from Maya, who also passed the Sauber driver, Chloe went wide and ended behind the Ferrari driver.
The US racer then settled into chase mode, and as the race unfolded, she closed in on the top three. On lap 6 Maya got past second-place Aurelia Nobels and on lap 10, on another Safety Car restart Chloe pounced, muscling her way past the Puma-supported driver to seal her sixth podium finish of the season.

A qualifying crash left the Red Bull Racing Pepe Jeans Academy Programme driver last on the grid but for the first seven laps it looked like she was heading for a remarkable recovery.
Powering past her rivals with ease, she climbed to P10 by lap four. However, pushing to the limit on lap 7, she hit a bump and hit the wall for the second time in the weekend, ending her race.

At the start of Race 2, Maya got away slowly from Pole and in Turn 1 she was passed by Doriane. Behind the front row Chloe, starting from P3, was also beaten to the punch by McLaren-backed Ella Lloyd, and after tussling through the opening corners, Ella got past in Turn 5 to drop Chloe to P4. The pass set up a wheel-banging battle between the pair that would last for the bulk of the race.
At the back of the field, Alisha, whose car had been rebuilt overnight, was on another charge through the pack and across the first three laps the Red Bull Racing Pepe Jeans Academy Programme driver rose from 18th to 12th place.

However, a bold attempt to pass Joanne Ciconte saw Alisha lock up and she dropped back to P14. She quickly recovered and clawed her way back to P12, but the rain that had threatened throughout then began to fall, and for the Bulls the race slipped away.
With conditions worsening Alisha was brought in for wet tyres and soon after Chloe followed suit.
Within moments the Safety Car was released for a crash involving Nicole Havrda, and though a group of rivals also pitted, Doriane and Maya stayed out on slicks.
With only a single racing lap left when the Safety Car peeled off track, there was no time for the Bulls to make their wet tyres count and as Maya passed Doriane to set up a title showdown in Las Vegas, Chloe finished in P11 and Alisha in P15.
