Sebastian was returning with the #1 plate on his car after taking the 2020 championship with ease and Graham has the reputation of being a tough driver and one that will help his teammate get to the top of the podium.
The Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup is one of the most competitive Esports series in the world and consists of 40 of the world’s best drivers, so it’s not easy getting to the top and staying there is even harder.
The British pair were certainly going to be formidable opponents at the start of the 2021 season and hard to topple from the top spot in the standings.
However, the season got off on a bad foot for Sebastian, who in the endurance race in Brazil had server issues at the halfway point and dropped out of the race meaning he walked away from the opening round with just nine points. Graham fared better collecting 32 points, but it was clear from the start that the opposition were ready to battle.
It didn’t take too long for the reigning World Champion to get on the top step of the podium. At the second round in Barcelona, Sebastian finished the sprint race in P8 – meaning he’d start the endurance race on pole (as the top eight finishers are reversed). And as soon as the lights went out, Sebastian was away and never looked back.
There was plenty of carnage behind him, including one incident on the first lap that wiped out eight cars, but the Bull crossed the finish line 2.5s ahead of his main rival Josh Rogers of Virtual Racing School.
Like buses, victories came two in a row for Sebastian. His second win of the season was claimed in the sprint race at round three in Imola. Much like in Barcelona, Sebastian led from the start and nobody was able to catch him.
However, in the endurance race and with the reverse grid in play, delight soon turned to disaster as he was clipped by rival Zac Campbell of RLL Esports and spun into the gravel trap. Sebastian re-joined the race in last place but was able to fight his way back into the points.

Round four was held at Silverstone and the location for both Sebastian’s and Graham’s best results of the season so far. But it didn’t come easy for the Bulls.
Both races were battles and the pair had to stay focused. After the ‘Seige of Silverstone’, Graham had come away with a P6 and a P4, whereas Sebastian had collected a P4 and another win – his third of the season. After four rounds Sebastian was sitting P3 in the standings and Graham in P10.

Rounds five and six were in the US and Canada respectively and were tough races for both drivers. Sebastian was able to claim a second-place podium at the sprint race in Montreal, but apart from that the Bulls struggled to get top-10 finishes.
However, with four rounds, and eight races still to go, there are plenty of points up for grabs! Currently in the standings Sebastian is in P4 on 257 points, 157 off the lead, and Graham is in P8 on 204 points, so there is still everything to play for.
The season now returns to Europe, where the remainder of the championship will be contested, and a visit to the world-famous Spa on Saturday 13 March. The coverage begins at 19:00GMT and you can watch all the action, live, right here!
