JüriVipsMakesFormulaOneDebut

The Red Bull Junior Team driver Jüri Vips, who is currently competing in Formula Two, got his first taste of an F1 session when he jumped into Checo’s RB18 for Free Practice One.
The 21-year-old Estonian completed 23 laps in total with a best time of 1:24.138 and after the session, said: “Today was amazing. Just to drive on the Grand Prix weekend is an incredible moment. When it first got announced I just kept thinking about when I first started karting and it was just a hobby and now I am going to get in the car. I can see why F1 is so hard because these sessions are very hectic!
“You learn a lot driving, as a junior driver travelling to races with the Team you get to hear the drivers’ feedback but to feel first-hand how the car feels is useful for me but also useful for the work I do on the simulator.”

PitCrewNailAnotherRace

With the race on the line and six pit stops between the two drivers, the pit crew had a busy and stressful afternoon, but they nailed all six pitstops.
Not only that, but they were quicker each time. Max’s first pit stop was 2.6s and his last was a blistering 2.4s These stops allowed the Bulls to not lose any positions on the track.

Spain demonstrated that both Max and Checo are fighters and want that top step on the podium. The pair drove superbly to secure their second one-two finish in the last three races. That result gave the team its 19th one two finish in 18 seasons.

MemphisDepayCheersOnHisFellowCountryman

Dutch footballer Memphis Depay, who’s day job is attacking from the wing at the Nou Camp in Barcelona, turned up to the Spanish Grand Prix as a guest of the Team and watched qualifying from the garage.
During his stay with the Team Memphis met the drivers of both Oracle Red Bull Racing and AlphaTauri and although we can’t prove it, probably told Max to use him in FIFA.

With an intermittently-working DRS system it looked like Max’s efforts were all going to be in vain, but Max along with Checo raced brilliantly and by just lap 35 it looked like the Bulls had sewn up their second one-two of the season.
Once sitting in P1 and P2 the Bulls swapped positions three times to ensure each had fresh enough tyres to get to the chequered flag. The other teams in the paddock could only sit and watch it unfold.
