Wings For Life Auction - Max's 2022 Austrian Grand Prix Helmet

Max Shows Off His Special 2022 Austrian GP Helmet

Max Verstappen and Oracle Red Bull Racing are teaming up with the Wings for Life Foundation for a special charity campaign. For the benefit of spinal cord research, the reigning World Champion and current leader of the standings is giving awaydonating his original helmet of the Formula One Rolex Grosser Preis von Österreich 2022.
The public bidding race starts today and will see the chequered flag on September 4th, the day of Max Verstappen’s home Grand Prix in Zandvoort, Netherlands. Fans from all over the world can now enter the auction here.
Designed as a special edition, the helmet will be worn by Max Verstappen exclusively during the Grand Prix weekend at the Red Bull Ring. As a special addition, the prize includes two VIP tickets for the Formula 1 season finale in Abu Dhabi (November 18th-20th). On the last race weekend of 2022, the auction winner will also meet Max Verstappen for a personal handover in the paddock where the helmet will be signed. and signation of the helmet in the Paddock.
All proceeds of the auction will go to Wings for Life, a research foundation who aims at finding a cure for spinal cord injury. To reach this ambitious goal, Wings for Life is handing out grants to high-class research projects all over the globe. The foundation is especially proud of serving researchers from renowned institutions such as Harvard, Yale or the Charité in Berlin. To date, Wings for Life has funded 274 research projects. With each project, the foundation is getting closer towards its’ ambitious goal.
