One of the first stops on his tour of the factory was to the Christian Horner’s office and across from him is where Adrian Newey is based. This is of course where his all important drawing board lives too. So, like every Formula One fan, Sergio wanted to take a look and couldn’t quite believe that a drawing board and pencil is still how Adrian designs his cars.

When Sergio was shown the fantastic new Red Bull Racing Erena he made a beeline for the console area to play FIFA and explained that he’s played against his new teammate Max, occasionally. He also makes sure he has a PlayStation in his driver’s room at every F1 race.

One of the most important things Checo had to do on his visit was to make sure he was going to fit and be comfortable in the RB16B. So he needed a seat fit before his first outing.
This process involves an entire team of engineers and mechanics, time, patience and a lot of expanding foam. Chief Engineer of Car Engineering Paul Monaghan and Race Car Build Manager Dave Boys explain what it entails. And remember comfort in a Formula One car comes as an optional extra!

Checo takes a tour of the Red Bull Advanced Technologies factory and sees the Valkyrie with his own eyes for the very first time. And it's clear that as soon as he sets eyes on the car he’s impressed with the 1,100 horsepower machine.
