There’s plenty of fantastic Brazilian food for you to try your hand at this weekend. Churrascaria restaurants are simply lovely, but we don’t expect you to be bringing out slabs of barbecued meat to carve at the table… so here are a few snacks you can make for you and your guests that mean you won’t miss the race.
Empadinhas; these are small shortcrust pies and perfect for a party. They are traditionally made with heart of palm, prawns or chicken as fillings, but you can also opt for vegetables, salt cod, and cheese if you prefer.
Pão de Queijo is considered Brazil’s most famous food export. A tasty cheese bread, served as small rolls. The recipe doesn’t call for wheat so they’re already gluten free if you’re that way inclines, and they’re perfect to dip into Feijoada. What’s Feijoada you ask? Well, it’s a hearty black bean and meat stew made with chorizo, pork ribs, pork shoulder and savoury spiced pulses.
Coxinhas, spicy chicken croquettes, are another popular Brazilian snack. They take a little bit of effort to make, but the results are 100% worth it.
And as always, we’ve not forgotten about those of you who have a sweet tooth. To finish off your meal, make a tray of Brigadeiros, chocolate truffles covered in either chopped up pistachio nuts or coconut crumble, delicious!

There are two hugely popular drinks in Brazil. Guaraná Antarctica is the soft drink of choice, but if you’re looking for something a bit stronger, then you’ll want to make a Caipirinha – Brazil’s national cocktail.
While the above are respectable choices, you know we’re going to recommend a Red Bull mocktail as your party drink of choice. There’s plenty to choose from but we’ve got just the one for the São Paulo Grand Prix: the Tropical Sangria. You’ll need some fresh apple, fresh orange, a cinnamon stick, and one can of Red Bull Yellow Edition. Here’s how to make it:
DanceLikeNobody’sWatching
They love to dance in Brazil and you’re hosting a party, so you’re going to want some tunes for when the circuit is quiet. We’ve got you covered. Here is the Bulls Beats playlist that will go perfectly with the São Paulo Grand Prix.
NewThreads
Although the Red Bull Shop doesn’t sell Carnival outfits, you’ll be able to get some fresh new clothes for your São Paulo Grand Prix watch party. Why not celebrate Max Verstappen claiming his third World Drivers’ Championship with a new T-shirt? Perfect for cheering him on to his next win!
