The

RB21,

our

final

car

under

the

2022

regulations,

was

an

evolution

of

the

previous

year's

challenger

and

featured

updates

to

the

floor,

cooling,

and

overall

concept

aimed

at

improving

balance.

The

RB21

at

first

proved

to

be

a

tricky

beast

to

tame.

However,

development

throughout

the

season

saw

performances

improve

and

following

the

summer

break,

Max

took

the

RB21

on

a

remarkable

comeback

trail.

Six

wins

from

the

final

nine

races

led

to

a

title

charge

that

lasted

all

the

way

to

the

final

round

in

Abu

Dhabi,

and

though

he

missed

out

on

a

fifth

crown

by

just

two

points,

the

RB21

finally

proved

its

worth

and

ended

the

season

as

perhaps

the

grid's

fastest

car.
