Traditional Azerbaijani food is a fantastic mix of Middle Eastern and Eastern European flavours, so there will be something for every palate. If you’ve ever been to a meze restaurant, you’ll get what we mean. The most famous Azerbaijani food is plov. Plov is a rice-based dish accompanied by a wide range of ingredients.
There are many different Plovs, which can include dried fruits, mutton, chicken and even a Shirin plov, which is a sweet dish.
Dolmas are another traditional Azerbaijani dish that is popular across most of Europe. These delicious stuffed vine leaves can be served with gatyg – a creamy garlic yoghurt. Dolmas are very important in Azerbaijani cuisine as they use many of the country’s available ingredients, and in 2017, dolma making in Azerbaijan was included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists.
That’s not all, you could cook kebabs too. The Lula kebab is the most popular, it’s minced lamb with lemon, salt, spices and herbs.
We’d love to see what you cook up for the race, so don’t forget to share and tag us on social media @redbullracing.

SomethingToWashItDownWith
Of course, it wouldn’t be a watch party without something to wash it down it, and for that it’s hard to beat refreshing Red Bull mocktail.
For the Baku we recommend the Bitter & Sweet – because that describes our fortune in Baku in recent years. Sometimes it’s been bitter – we're looking at you 2018– and sometimes it’s been oh so sweet, as in 2022 when the Team took an impressive one-two finish.
The Bitter & Sweet consists of vanilla syrup, bitter syrup, orange juice, a can of Red Bull, ice and orange slice to garnish. Fancy giving it a go? Here’s how to prepare it:
ItAin’tAPartyWithoutMusic
We’re well known as the team in the pits who brings the party – we play our music loud and you’ll always hear us before you see us –excuse the cliché, but we work hard and play hard..
If you’re having an Oracle Red Bull Racing Watch Party, then you’re going to need music and we’ve got that sorted for you with our Bull’s Beats playlist, exclusively created for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Have a listen and a boogie.
So, with that you’ve got everything for an amazing party with your family and friends.
Enjoy the race!
